Igniting a Passion to KNOW Christ
As a church we want to help you KNOW God through a life-changing relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. There are several ways we would like to introduce you to God, so that your story will become a part of His Story. There is a way to bridge the gap of separation between you and the God who longs for you to find your greatest joy in knowing Him and His people.
How Worship Helps You to Know God
God longs for you to know Him in spirit and in truth! A great way to do that is to experience Him in the midst of God's people worshiping Him. We have a contemporary style of music at our service. Our worship team does a great job of leading us in both modern praise songs as well as traditional hymns done in non-traditional ways. Also included in our service is a teaching time designed to help you know and understand God better. We desire our messages to be both informational and inspirational as we learn how to apply God's word in relevant ways to everyday life. We believe our Worship Service will help you to encounter God and take next steps in knowing Him!
What God Has Done So You Can Know Him
One of the biggest hindrances to people knowing God in a real way is that they don't mistake Christianity for just another religion. But once you understand the difference between religion and Christianity the door is opened to knowing God in a real way. The difference is basic but significant.
Religion is spelled D-O, and is all about trying to DO enough to please God. The trouble is we don’t know if we ever do enough, and the Bible tells us we can never do enough (Romans 3.23). But Christianity is spelled D-O-N-E. God in Jesus has DONE what we could never do. He lived the perfect life and died on the cross to pay for all the wrong we have done and the sinners that we all are. And we know that what God has done in Christ is enough to save the worst of sinners, because having died as a perfect payment for sin, He rose again from the dead and is even now sitting at the right of God's throne with all authority to save anyone anywhere.
But it’s not enough just to know this. We have to receive what God has done for us in Jesus. We have to ask Jesus to forgive us and to be the leader of our lives. This means we must turn from trusting in sinful patterns of life and self-reliance to fully trust in who Jesus is and what He has done for anyone who will call on His Name to be saved!

Do you understand the difference, see your need for Jesus, and desire to be saved from your sins and know God in a real way? If so, you can simply:
- Confess your need as a helpless and hopeless sinner to this loving and holy God.
- Turn from your rebellious indifference and self-reliance to completely trust in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to rescue you from your sinful life, to create in you a new heart, and to give you the gift of Himself and His perfect obedience.
- Realize that receiving Jesus Christ, the King, enables you to follow Him with an obedient faith from this day forward and for all eternity!
The moment you trust Jesus Christ in this way, you become a child of God and His Spirit comes to live inside of you. You have become part of His forever family. The more you grow in your relationship with God, the more you will begin to see and understand what He has done for you in Christ. All of your sin, past and future, is forgiven, and you now find total acceptance before Him. When you begin this relationship, Jesus promises to be with you through all the ups and downs and in the joys and difficulties of this life. He loves you with an everlasting, unchanging love. And not only has He promised eternal life, but He came so that you could also experience purpose, fulfillment, and freedom in this life!
